Don’t be that… Guy

We have all seen “that guy”. You know, that person who is driving in the fast lane on the highway with their brake lights flickering on and off because their either driving too close to the car in front of them, or they just sometimes for no apparent reason at all, brake! You never know exactly if they're going to slow down or come to a complete stop. I'm not sure what their reasoning behind doing this is, but they often cause traffic to back up seeing that everyone else behind them ends up having to do the same thing - tap their brakes. Not to mention the possibility of causing accidents and a lot of extra wear on their brakes and yours too, if you're driving behind them.

So, don’t be “that guy”. Maintain a safe driving distance of about three seconds from the car in front of you so that you do not need to keep hitting the brakes every time they do. And only use your brakes when necessary. If used excessively they may not be all that reliable when really needed!
